New Bowling Balls to Consider for Tournament Season

With tax season here, balls are being purchased at a very high rate. And tons of great balls have recently come out, and I am asked daily: “which ball should I buy?”

So, today, I want to go over some of the newest balls that I have been most impressed with the would be worth your investment.

Hammer Rip’d and Rip’d solid:

Incredible. Period. I don’t really need to give you an in-depth review here. If you are looking for big, high end balls, look no further; these are the balls you’re looking for. The solid is incredibly strong and very continuous, the Hybrid reads the body of the lane as well as any shiny ball I have seen in quite some time. I have sold a lot of these so far, and I have been impressed by each one.

Storm Son!Q:

Huge fan. Incredible ball. I have liked virtually every IQ ever released, and this one is no different. Very clean, very strong down lane. For me, it’s an IQ30 on steroids. Very, very good ball, and definitely worth the investment if you’re looking for an upper-mid performance ball that exceeds that level of performance.

Brunswick Tenacity

Watching this ball on the lanes for customers I have to say I am impressed. Brunswick found the right combination of backend and midlane to make this ball work from many angles.

Ebonite GB3:

It’s a Gamebreaker. It’s good. Duh. Great price point, excellent value. That’s all there is to say, right? It’s a Gamebreaker.

Motiv Venom Shock Pearl:

It’s very clean, but I still really like it. I was a huge fan of the original Shock, and so far this ball has been impressive. On the burn, I feel very comfortable throwing this ball. I’d definitely recommend it for a great burn/dry lane ball.

Older balls to consider:

Storm Code Red (duh), Columbia 300 Eruption Pro
